Design found me through problem solving.
I grew up around art. Family influence shaped an early instinct for visual thinking. A double major in Mass Communications and Sociology at Virginia Commonwealth University gave that instinct a framework.
I started professionally in environments where clarity was survival. Federal systems. Enterprise platforms. Products where confusion had real consequences. That shaped how I think. I do not decorate. I structure. I reduce. I find the signal.

I see design as architecture. Every element earns its place. Every decision connects to the next. Nothing exists in isolation. Understanding how people behave, how they decide, has always driven my curiosity.
This is not minimalism for style. It is rigor for clarity.

I'm endlessly curious about how visuals influence behavior, whether that's through design, culture, plants, or politics.
